Purpose:
My purpose is to be a creative photographer who initiates people toward the process of making Vision Portraits, Personal Affirmations, and Treasure Portraits. I am looking for people who want a change -- people who are seeking challenges in their lives. As co-active facilitators, we enable them to visually reveal a side of themselves that neither they, nor anyone else, might have seen before. Others are mirrors of ourselves -- we project our thoughts on others and onto the outside world; so it is important to start with accepting ourselves and changing our limiting beliefs to self-actualizing, empowering beliefs. That is why this tool was created.
I ask questions, and from there, an image of the potential photography session experience comes forth. The designed sessions are life-changing, all-encompassing experiences that engage one's whole being. From there comes an image which helps motivate and empower one. The affirmations written on the printed portraits will anchor and further the feelings that arose within the sessions. As many kinds of people as there are, and as innumerable as their goals are, there is a kaleidescopic variety of portraits.
Vision:
I see a world filled with self-love. We live our own truth instead of believing someone else's ideas of who we are. We know who we are and that is what matters -- not the labels of what our parents, friends, society, culture or teachers thought of us in our past, when we were little. In the new world, love permeates everyone's lives, overflowing the boundaries of our selves, into embracing the world and others, as part of us. People enjoy helping each other and growing with each other. We truly connect with no fearful "masks" to protect ourselves, and don't have the inner doubt that we are not "enough". Inner dialogue is uplifting and supportive, with no judgement.
In my vision, people are intent observers of their own emotional and mental processes, and use this knowledge to improve everyone's lives. Folks use positive affirmations to reinforce and promote their spiritual growth, learning, and self-confidence. People deeply care about each other, and are insatiably curious about every facet of others; they live to nurture each other's souls and minds. The world is without limitations; immense, expansive, all-encompassing goals continue a flowering of holistic collective evolution and awareness. Vision is embodied within people- everyone lives their goals and values, and is fulfilled. Children everywhere are happy, loved and loving.
Mission:
I want to be a problem solver who accelerates and expedites the "blossoming" process of people in a creative way. Through "The Way I See Me" project, I have combined my learning in self-actualization, creative talent, and the power of the mind to start the proverbial fire in people, motivating them, and revealing their divine essence. The Personal Affirmation Portraits galvanize people to be fully present in the experience - to be in the vision for themselves, and thus register and record it permanently on all levels of their being. A cornerstone of our program is asking powerful triggering questions" -- mindful, purposeful, open-ended questions such as,"Who are you?"; "What do you really want?" , "What inspires you?" "Who helps you?" "What sustains you?" that empower people's mind to search for the answers, and rockets them forward exponentially on the path of continuous development.
As 'The Way I See Me" project expands in popularity and influence, I will train spiritual-seeking photographers, and enable them to learn to make portraits for others. The next step is to empower people to teach others how to be trainers themselves - "teach the trainers". In this sense, we will reach as many people as possible all over the country, and eventually all over the world.
For the participants of the program, as throughout their lives they will keep growing, they will grow with the program, and the program will co-actively evolve with them. There will be a virtual community of participants through our website and blog portal. Members can contribute suggestions, help others grow and learn, and celebrate their own successes and breakthroughs.
Legacy:
I want to create a "Design Your Life School" to help orphans, abandoned children, dropouts, foster kids, runaways, and the disenfranchised, by teaching them important life skills. We will invest in, inspire, and energize them. We will open our doors to everyone and have free education, guided by the notion of choice. Central to the program are Personal Affirmation Portraits. These customized experiences will create the paradigm - the template-- for how the children will want to create their lives. We will have experiential, custom-tailored classes on love, health, finance, self-esteem/confidence, and any other kind of self-directed study of their choosing . We will teach self-love as paramount -- for once you love yourself, you open the door to love everyone else, and love, celebrate, enhance, and expand life. We will have a "Forever Gallery" of portraits as a celebration of all of the children's lives that have been touched by this organization. Coaches, teachers, parents, and educators everywhere will have the opportunity to contribute and share their teaching services, skills, and abilities free of charge, in order to allow the school to be self-perpetuating. The gift of learning passed on by these mentors will embrace the child to find their own talents, so they in turn can give to others. The school will be held and envisioned as self-sustaining, and will serve as a model of inspiration to many future educational programs all throughout our reality.
