Lisa's Vision:

I want to have focus, follow-through, and balance.

The object that most represents all my focus is my computer. But I hate how I'm tied to it and constantly have to be on it for all of my businesses. I'm not sure what would represent the feeling of peace I want to attain.

 

It would smell like cookies, taste like ice cream, sound like the waves gently lapping on the shore, and I'd feel light as a feather, leaping in the air or flying - with nothing weighing me down or hanging over my head.

My favorite color is Cobalt

Shooting with Moriah was a really enjoyable experience. Right off the bat, she made me feel comfortable by taking the time to talk with me and get to know me a little better. We spoke about specifics of I wanted out of the shoot, with regards to how I felt about and saw my life now, and how I wanted to affect it through positive reinforcement and affirmation. So we both had a good idea of where the shoot might take us, and I had positive and specific thoughts to focus my energy on, (which shines through in the photos).

From what we had decided, she wanted some photos to capture me unaware of her presence and in a completely peaceful and relaxed state. She achieved that. But then we started playing a bit more and the shoot morphed into something I hadn't expected. Her positive energy and willingness to just go with the flow, fed mine and made me feel beautiful and confident. And although we were both expending a lot of energy to get unique and amazing shots, we were both (it seemed) having fun. She would move all around to get the shot; not afraid to get down into the dirt, as I just kept jumping into the air.

I never felt self conscious or rushed. Now that's just about her personability. Moriah, as you have probably seen, is a very talented photographer. I was amazed at how sharp and well composed so many of the action shots were! She has great timing and quick reflexes. And her use of lighting is beautiful and artistic. I was so impressed with the way she captured everything; from me flying through the air to the gorgeous sunset on the placid lake behind me. I trust Moriah's talent and instincts, and would work with her anytime.
